It could be a great addition to your birthday party, hen party, baby shower or a team away day.
We will have 3 hours to learn the theoretical part as well as get messy with our own designs. You will be served tea/ coffee and healthy snacks. We will explore the history and basic chemistry of soap making, Sodium Hydroxide and Safety, prepare moulds, calculate the capacity of your chosen mould. We will look in detail at the different consistencies of the ingredients and discuss how this will affect the finished bars of soap. Learn what additives such as flowers, seeds, oats, oxides, herbs, spices and clays to use, colour your natural soaps, add nutrient oils for various skin conditions and add pure essential oils for that beautiful finish. You will learn how to formulate a recipe and understand the SAP calculator and SAP Values. A touch on storing and packaging of the soaps will close this workshop. You will leave the session inspired, skilled and confident to make your own products. We are aiming to make 3 bars during the one session and it's yours to take home.
